HDPE Spiral Tanks are industrial storage tanks manufactured using High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) sheets that are formed into a spiral-wound cylindrical structure using a specialized extrusion welding process. These tanks are widely used for chemical storage, water storage, effluent treatment plants (ETP), and sewage treatment plants (STP) because of their excellent corrosion resistance and long service life.

The spiral winding technique creates a seamless and structurally strong tank wall, making the tank suitable for large diameters and high-strength applications.

Manufacturing Method

The tank is manufactured using a spiral extrusion welding machine, where:

1. HDPE granules are melted in an extruder

2. Molten HDPE is extruded into a spiral profile

3. The profile is wound around a rotating mandrel

4. Continuous welding creates a strong cylindrical wall

5. Tank bottom and top cover are welded

6. Nozzles, manholes, and supports are installed

This process ensures uniform wall thickness and strong structural integrity.
